Our Mission Statement!
We are an association of business
owners, decision makers and leaders who gather together for
the exchange of business leads, and to promote business for
the members of the association.

Our
History and Orientation
In the early Spring of 1955,
Reg McNaught-Davis, a Spokane businessman, learned of an
Association in Seattle called the Seattle Executives
Association. He learned of the Association from Bill Moore,
a Seattle Executive member. Reg thought it was a great idea,
and there was no other club or association dedicated solely
to providing leads from member to member in Spokane. He then
contacted nine other businesses and professional people.
After Reg had obtained the Seattle
Executives specimen by-laws, a meeting was held with all ten
present. It was decided that they would all try to influence
another friend so that, when they had 25 interested and paid
members, they would start the Spokane Executive Association.
In September of that year, they had
slightly over 25 members. It grew to approximately 45
members and hovered around 55 to 65 members for several
years. Currently, there are 80 dues paying members.
Very few changes have made to the
original by-laws. The by-laws were drawn by Paul Clausen,
Attorney, but for interest, fun and pleasure, new activities
have been added to our agenda. These consist of a few social
events for members and spouses, the Leads Wheel, and Raffle
(to help offset the annual Northwest Conference costs),
member golf games and other activities.
In 1995, Board Policies were
established as a membership guide for the members and the
Board of Directors. These can be altered by a simple
majority vote by the board.
The sole purpose is to provide leads
and, when possible, to do business with other members. This
philosophy has never changed. Also, when a member does
business with a member, he tries his best to be fair,
prompt, and provide excellent products or service.
